Robert Hand has over thirty-five years experience in the measurement and control of noise and vibration. He is currently president of Redbud Technology Group, which specializes in vibration and noise consulting and testing applications. From 1973 to 1996, he was with Clark Equipment Company and was the General Manager of Clark's Engineering Services department for the last five years. From 1962 to 1973, he worked as a Research Engineer at the University of Michigan.
Mr. Hand has lectured at the University of Michigan and the University of Wisconsin, and has participated in numerous Society of Automotive Engineers' technical sessions. He has chaired numerous committees and councils for SAE and ANSI. Mr. Hand earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1962 and continued his education by adding a M.A. in Management from Nazareth College in 1988.
