Introduction to TTiTTi was founded in 1962 and has presented short training courses in vibration related subjects for over forty years. TTi has been known by several names: originally it was Tustin Institute of Technology, then Tustin Technical Institute, Inc., then Technology Training Initiative; now it is called Technology Training, Inc. TTi president Colin Stephens became associated with the company in 1989 and took over ownership and management in early 1990. He developed and introduced many new courses and the Specialist Certificate Program that enables individuals working in the field of environmental engineering to follow a well-planned multi-year program of continuing education in their chosen profession. |

| The scope of course subjects offered by TTi has been greatly expanded
and our curriculum now covers subjects related to design, test
and manufacture of a wide range of "high-tech" products,
with particular emphasis on Quality and Reliability. Our engineering,
design and management courses cover mechanical, electronics,
thermal, EMC/EMI/ESD, quality, reliability, SPC, project management/scheduling
etc. Our test-related courses cover vibration, shock,
packaging, EMI/EMC/ESD, noise, instrumentation, digital data acquisition,
signal processing and data analysis, specifications, EST/ESS and
climatics. Our metrology program includes courses on
metrology and calibration. A number of "open" courses are presented each year, while some presentations of specific courses are offered at various locations throughout the United States. TTi presents "on-site" courses at clients' facilities around the United States and many international locations. This format is economical for organizations with ten or more individuals who need training in the same subject at the same time. Our distance learning courses continue to be in demand. Individuals from all over the United States and as far away as Australia and Europe are currently extending their environmental engineering capabilities through our courses. This option is particularly helpful for those individuals who are unable to travel to a live course presentation. |

We believe that a relaxed classroom atmosphere with good interaction between participants and instructor is an important ingredient in having our students understand and retain as much as possible of the technical subject matter presented. |
| We select our instructors
based on their technical and practical experience, and we encourage
our students to make the most of their training opportunity. In
a short course of three days or less, it is important that everyone
participates in the ongoing classroom dialogue from the beginning,
since there is no time to lose.
TTi is continually making efforts to improve the quality of its training program. We welcome and value the input from students and we give serious consideration to all comments when evaluating the student course critiques. Many of the improvements over the last few years have come from suggestions and ideas from our course participants. |
