Management has many responsibilities in running a successful organization. They are just as busy as everyone else. Activities are usually delegated to individuals who have proven that they have the ability to get things done. The organization's end-product needs to be of a given quality and to this end, the current philosophy is to implement the Quality Program known as ISO 9000. The thrust of this program is to document all procedures, so that everyone involved in production is following the same "sheet of music" and that all stages of product development and production follow the planned procedure. The experiences of the creators of the ISO 9000 concept dictated that appropriate training was essential to producing a quality product. This is a requirement of all ISO 9000 programs.
